Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Material Handler to join their client's team in Scotts Valley, California. This is a crucial role within the warehouse operations, focused on ensuring the efficient flow of materials and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler will play an integral part in supporting the production areas by delivering materials in a timely and organized manner.
Responsibilities
- Support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and kitting materials while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to production areas.
- Work independently on routine tasks and help maintain accurate inventory records and material flow.
- Perform receiving, picking, staging, and kitting of materials, record inventory transactions in the ERP system, and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Identify and report discrepancies, support cycle counts, and help resolve routine inventory issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure materials are available, properly kitted, and delivered as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, materials handling, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience performing receiving, picking, staging, and kitting activities.
- Basic proficiency with ERP or inventory systems.
- Understanding of material flow and kitting requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cycle counts or inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse organization and material flow practices.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

Additional Details
The pay range for this position is between $24 and $28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
